Change of 主要: Chemistry

The Chemistry Change of 主要 materials and application process is for current students declared a major in the Chemistry Department 和 for students declared a major outside the Chemistry Department interested in pursuing a change of major to any major within the Chemistry Department.

Students are encouraged to attend a Change of 主要 Informational Session and/or request a Change of 主要 Informational Packet each academic year due to potential changes to department-specific application requirements between application periods.

Chemistry Change of 主要 Informational Packet

• Available June 2024: Request a Fall 2024 Informational Packet to view current information related to Change of 主要 criteria, deadlines, and the process of applying to a major 在生物学中
• Complete the Change of 主要 Planning Worksheet (found in the Informational Packet) to gain access to the Change of 主要 Advising
• Requesters will receive a Chemistry Change of 主要 Informational Packet in 3-5 business 天

Fall 2024 Change of 主要 Informational Sessions

• Available August 2024: Register to attend a Virtual Change of 主要 Informational Session led by CoS-SSC to receive detailed information related to the College of 科学 Change of 主要 process

Change of 主要 Advising

Change of 主要 Advising is available to students who have completed the Change of 主要 Planning Worksheet found in the Informational Packet starting August 2024.

Apply to Chemistry

To apply to a major within the Chemistry Department, evaluate your eligibility based on current admission criteria. When ready to apply, request a Change of 主要 Application. Requesting an application will be available in Fall 2024.

The Spring 2024 "Request for a Change of 主要 Application" is closed for Fall 2024 admittance consideration.
