Graduate Program Policies

Overview

Change of Classification Status

“有条件分类”的研究生(i.e. have prerequisites) may 希望在修完所有的预修课程后，将自己的状态改为“分类”. To do this, they may submit the 更改硕士课程表格分类[pdf], signed by the Graduate Coordinator Ericka Adams. 申请候选人必须转为保密身份. Advancement to Candidacy

  1. Be in classified standing

  3. 完成9个单元的核心或必修课程，平均绩点为3分.0 ("B") or better

Retaking Courses and Disqualification

Petitions for Dropping Courses

Supervision Courses and Application Forms

JS 281 - Justice Practicum

JS 299 - Thesis Option (Plan A)

Graduate Assistants

研究生获得专业经验的途径有两种 working with faculty. 第一种是研究生助教(GTA)，这是严格的 学习经验，并提供课程学分. The second is called a Graduate 助理或(GA)，这是一项有薪水的工作任务.

Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA)

Interested students must submit the Graduate Teaching Assistant Form and the JS 298 Application Form.

Graduate Assistant (GA)
