BayPass Pilot Program
Beginning Fall 2022, San José State University, Associated 学生, will participate
in a two-year pilot program run by the Metropolitan Transportation Commission and
巴特 (海湾地区 Rapid Transit).
As part of this program, about a quarter of the student population enrolled for fall
will be selected to receive a Clipper BayPass. This limited distribution, which will
基于… 随机 assignment, is designed to measure the impact on travel of an all-system pass when
compared to students not using Clipper BayPass.
This pass will allow eligible enrolled students free travel access to all 24 海湾地区 transit operators that accept the Clipper Card, including VTAAC运输公司; 巴特, Caltrain. The BayPass can be used for commuting or to explore leisurely in and around the

This program aims to better understand 菠菜网lol正规平台 students' travel behaviors. 结果 of this program will be used to examine the impact on ridership when offering an all-in-一个 交通卡. Any information collected will comply with 菠菜网lol正规平台's data and FERPA regulations. This is the first step to creating a Seamless 海湾地区 Transit System!
Selected participants received an email from AS Transportation Solutions to their preferred email listed on their My.菠菜网lol正规平台 account by August 15th, 2022.
